We all value leadership that is centered around service and delivering solutions that make our lives better. Every day I wake up and ask myself what can I do today to make tomorrow better? Whether it is relationships, business, or our city, we should always be working together to make tomorrow better for everyone.
I have participated in
Citizens of Loveland have expressed the importance of trust in their city and their council. I have earned the trust of supporters, city staff and my council peers over 8 years of service having been elected three times as Mayor Pro Tem. Together with citizens, council, and staff, we will continue to work together to promote trust and embrace a better Loveland.
Being able to get around our city safely is essential. No one should fear that the next intersection might be a life-or-death experience. We have worked on mobility options, enhancing traffic flow, and improving traffic safety issues through design and enforcement. I will continue to move forward with these actions making Loveland a safer place for everyone.
Everyone wants a place to call home. As the cost of living and the need for housing continues to rise, I will work to provide housing solutions for our community. Over my 8 years on council, I have worked to put thousands of affordable and attainable homes in Loveland. I will continue this work with city staff, developers, and builders to increase access to housing without unnecessary restrictions that negatively affect jobs, the economy, and the environment.
Caring for others is the bedrock of a compassionate community. As Loveland continues to grow, we need to find solutions that care for all residents, including the homeless. Working together, we can increase the shelter, safety and cleanliness of our community for the benefit of all residents. We should envision a Loveland with Zero Homelessness.
